Saves you lot of time... I can put the pot of water on the heat and have the pasta made and ready to put in the water by the time that the water is boiling.... Easy to clean after... Pasta tastes fresh and great and is consistently of high quality.
Although it's smaller than I thought it would be, it sure does make good pasta.
Absolutely love my new pasta machine. One review said you just need to use a 3 to 1 ratio for dry to wet ingredients. I found this to be true after my 4ht trial. For a good amount of pasta, use 3 cups of flour to 1 cup of liquid that can be any combination of egg, water, vegetable juice, etc. Don’t let all the nonsense about weighing ingredients scare you. Totally unnecessary. It would appear dry yes but don't add water. Just don;t.
The operation is simple and it works great so far. It only takes under 10 min to get the noodle ready. Best part is, cleaning is also easy. Highly recommend!
There was too much liquid on my first try so I checked out youtube videos, and fixed that issue after a few bad batches. It worked great since then. We as a family have voted the pasta that comes out as the best. We're using King Arthur, both the bread and normal versions (based upon availability at the store)--doesn't matter both work the same and come out great.
My wife and I purchased this for our home cooking. After much trial & error and videos watched, I'm sharing the ratio that made our pasta at the the right consistency. If you use 3 cups of flour, you use 1 cup of water. If you use 270 g of flour, you use 90cc of water, including the egg if you add it. So beat up the egg well first, then add water after the rotation of the flour has begun and you put the liquid in through the strips slowly on the lid.The flour looks mealy, inconsistent, shreddy and you want to add more water but RESIST this temptation! You will love it, as we do!
I thought this pasta maker would be a little bigger. The photo shows the second batch I made for my ramen noodles. I would recommend learning about the differences between asian and Italian styles. It gives you understanding of what to look for when you use a recipe and how to handle the pasta. So far this met my expectation.
Took me three bad batches before getting it right. Once I have the right ratio of flour and water, everything went smoothly. If you've made dough and pasta by hand before, then you should follow the same ratio.
As long as the flour and liquid are precisely measured, the noodles will be produced flawlessly.
Bought this with the recommendation of a friend. She told me how easy it was to use and that the pasta came out great. We had fresh lobster stuff raviolis on Christmas day!!! We had to play with the recipe to get the texture right, but they came out excellent. I decided to buy a second one to give to my son and his wife. Thought we could just share the one, but instead, decided its best to have a second for the growing family. We have told numerous friends about this maker and all were talking about making the purchase.
My arthritis won't allow me to make dough anymore so I got this. No kneading for my hands. I just put in the ingredients and the machine does everything. I wanted to make my own pasta and this machine allows me to just that. Very pleased with this pasta machine. I'm glad I bought it.
A little challenging to learn how to get the right texture but I'm enjoying it.
I've used this pasta maker a few times now, and I do love that it's easy to use. My biggest complaint is that, thin pastas like angel hair or fettucini, come out a bit thicker than I would like. It's difficult to store with its size, but it's so simple to use. You simply put the ingredients and turn it on. With others, you have to mix your dough, then feed it through the pasta machine. Messy! This is also quite easy to clean up, which makes it so much more likely that I will actually use it more often. If you're okay with denser, more thick, heavy pasta, you'll like this machine.
After purchasing one for myself and found how great this machine works, I bought another for my parents. They loved it!! Now they make noodles almost everyday, the noodles taste good and the process is very fast
Making pasta from this is fun and easy as if like playing with play dough as a child. There are so many possibilities and I can’t wait to try each one. A trusty food scale and weighing each ingredient by the gram worked for me. I never run into a problem doing this.
Worked as I expected. I use it to make Asian noodle with whole wheat, egg, water. Really great product. Only improvement I wish is to reduce the waste, since there are some left over after done with noodle making.
We love this pasta maker. It offers different shaped/style noodles we can make which is so fun. My husband was wanting one of these for years so we grabbed it up and have been so happy with it. It is easy to use and clean and isn't super loud.
This little appliance works beautifully. It makes a perfect portion for two adults, but you can quickly power off and then on again, and put in another measure of flour and water/egg, and churn out a second batch without cleaning in between. The pasta is smooth and flexible (I do use a kitchen scale to measure the ingredients in grams) and very little of the dough is wasted. It's super easy to break down and clean.
Super love this pasta maker. So easy to use and clean. We have been adding vegetable powder with our flour to make them colorful, more tasty and to feel better about all the pasta we have been eating.
Amazing product. Your pasta will be ready in 10 minutes! The texture is EXCELLENT. I've done penne, linguine, spaghetti and cut flat sheets into wonderful tagliatelli. No failures. Only authentic, great tasting pasta each time.
So far so good. Only tried spaghetti disc, success every time. 2 cups of flour + 1 egg + 1 tea spoon salt is the right recipe for me. There is some leftover. It is easy to wash after it has dried out. I tried dish washer twice, so far no damages. I like it very much and would recommend to anyone.
Decided to get this after a few days into quarantine. I was very excited about this pasta maker and when it did arrive, I had my kids help out with making pasta and we had so much fun. We can make fresh pasta anytime. We haven't bought pasta after this purchase.
great product!! I used it to make pasta every week. It’s running very well
